BeReal is a French social media platform that takes and shares photos every day at random times while notifying everyone within 2 minutes to discover the true identity of the user's friends in their daily lives. BeReal inc is represented by BeReal, which was developed by Alexis Barreyat, a former GoPro employee, and became popular with Generation Z in early 2022. It first spread widely on college campuses. By April, it had more than 6.8 million downloads, most of which will take place in 2022. BeReal received $30 million in funding from Andreessen Horowitz. As of July 2022, the app has an estimated global install base of more than 20 million and the company is valued at $600 million.
