Founder and CEO of Grindr is Joel Simkhai, who holds a B.A. in International Relations and Economics from Tufts University and worked in a variety of fields, including finance and media, prior to establishing Grindr.

Grindr's Vice President of Engineering is Lukas Sliwka, who is responsible for the development, operation and maintenance of Grindr's software. He was formerly the Manager of Geographic Distribution Engineering at Beachbody, and also served as the Global Technical Director for Yamaha Motor Corporation and Mazda USA.

Composition of Grindr's Board of Directors: Grindr's Board of Directors has five members, and Kunlun Group has the right to appoint three of the five directors, with Kunlun Wanwei CEO Zhou Yahui as Chairman of the Board and Zhou Wei as Vice Chairman.
